This summers shoe craze is the gladiator sandal. Not necessarily one of my favorite trends- I don't find them all that comfortable, and there's very few that I've found that I find attractive. I like my summer shoes to be as bare as possible- flip flops, barely there strappy sandals, and the like. Gladiator sandals are just so constricting to me, I feel like my feet can't breathe in the majority of them, like these:

First of all, what the heck? Nike making gladiator sandals? I can handle brown leather sandals, and even the metallic ones aren't that bad. But this to me is just tacky looking. However, everyone who's ordered them on
zappos.com has given them rave reviews for comfort and style unless you have wide or extra long feet. Available in 4 different colors at $80. Personally not for me, but to each his own. Opinions anyone?
